Food:

Service:

Area Cleanliness:

Ambience and Comfortability:

It's my birthday today. Well first of all happy birthday to me. And we celebrated it at Super Bowl SM Megamall branch.

It's located at the mall's newly built Atrium area, so it's pretty neat. The place is good-looking itself. Clean, fresh, dust-free, no offensive or funky smell, well-lit. It has that warm feel to it. It's homey and comfortable and nice. Anyway if you sit in the farthest area inside, it's literally warm.

We sat down and immediately somebody welcomed and told us that someone will be assigned to our table and that he will be catering to all our needs while we were there. Cool right? Awesome service, fast and quick. Nobody wants to wait foodwise. Menu was handed to us, we chose what we were going to eat, and voila. We sat there for like 10 - 15 minutes before we got served. Still pretty fast.

Calamares, Yangchow, Lechon Macau

This is their version of deepfried calamares. Pretty much like North Park's. Up it from the left is their Lechon Macau and next to it is their Super Yangchow friedrice. They prefixed a "Super" to it not to emphasize its taste, instead it emphasizes its size, like super big. Good food. Sumptious. The only fault we've encountered is its oiliness. A tad too much cooking oil in every dish. It really emanates inside your mouth. And they only got red vinegar as a dip for the fried calamares. The Yangchow too was greasy. Lechon Macau, love it.

Mixed Vegetables With Shrimp And Squid

Random photo over here. This is their veggies with squid and shrimp. I ate a lot of this, seeing that it was the only one without too much oil.

Sour-Tasting Fish

Fish for my dad. Never tasted it. It was placed in front of him I can't reach it. Anyway, notice that we only had water as our beverage? Yes. We only had water. You ever get that bloated feeling of discomfort when you're eating lots of oily food while gulping on soda? We wanted to avoid it that's why.

I forgot to capture a shot of their birthday noodles and their deep fried chicken. Their birthday noodles are much less in amount compared with North Park. Still good. Still gooooood.

Lastly, since it was my birthday, my mom decided to take the bother of asking the gentleman assigned to our table if they had any treat for birthday celebrants dining in their place. And I'm surprised they do.

Super Birthday Ice Cream

Right after we finished eating, all the crewpeople in the restaurant swarmed (literally swarmed. It only took 3 seconds. So fast we were totally caught off-guard) at our table and sang to me a "Super Happy Birthday" song. It was awesome I tell you, awesome! They were like, "tumatanda kana pero machong-macho pa!" (you're getting older but you're still a buff stud). I was so red and happy at the same time. One of my greatest birthdays ever.

That ice cream scoop over there is their treat for me (there was a Super Bowl birthday card too. They handed these to me while they were singing). My little sister grabbed the waferstick placed atop the icecream before it can even be pictured. That's why there's this big empty space in that plate. Anyway, the chocolate ice cream tasted great, though I can't remember any ice cream that tastes awful. Is there such a thing such as awful tasting ice cream? Guess not.

----------
This is another good memory that will be preserved in my little library of good memories. A big thanks to my family and my girlfriend for celebrating my birthday with me. Thanks to God for lending me 21 years in life.

Anyway, after you have finished eating everything, someone from the crew will kindly ask you to fill out their comments and suggestions form. You have to fill up the like: How was the food?; How was the service?; Anything we could improve?; etcetera etcetera.

I forgot to mention, they really take care of you here and you'll feel really taken care of. The gentleman assigned at your table is always standing by watching you from afar anticipating your needs. If you run out of something he'll quickly attend to it. Not only him, but everyone. In fact you'll feel ashamed if you give them a low grade at their comments and suggestions form.

Food was great. Service was cool. Place is excellent. All in all, it's totally good.

'Till my next installment.
