Recently a new ad of Sting Energy Drink came to TV. And it's some kinda fun.
Watch the ad below. Now that's what you call energy. And the fun thing is, the dude on the vid charged up by dancing to MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This". I miss the Hamma.

Fun aside, these energy drinks are becoming more commercialized and more available right now. Before here in this nation you could only name two energy drinks: Red Bull and Lipovitan. Then came those energy powders that you mix with water (Extra Joss). That was also a few years ago. But now, it seems that everybody's riding the bandwagon. I can name but a few of the many energy drinks available at the market right now. Let's see. There's Samurai, of course Sting, and there's Cobra. See? That's three energy drinks manufactured in a short period of time. And it's scary.
Recently, a health agency confiscated Red Bulls in HK because it allegedly contained cocaine (or some crack). Red Bulls here meanwhile were safe. That's what I mean by scary. You don't know what these energy drink manufacturing companies are putting on their drinks. You don't know if their compromising health for energy or something. The availability of such should be carefully observed in my opinion.
Anyways, these drinks, they taste like a weird combination of Sprite, Fanta, oral salts, and some kind of rough drink. It's just unexplainable. It's rough to the taste. If you wanna taste it and you're not in the Philippines, better go to a Filipino specialty store near you and request for one. You'll taste what I mean.
'Till my next installment.
